Making sure your therapist is the right fit is so important.
A little more about me.
Are you having a hard time moving through this season of life?
If you are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, and don’t know where to start your journey into healing and growth then you’ve come to the right place!
I’m Hannah, a licensed therapist dedicated to helping people who are struggling to cope with the circumstances of their life. Life is an ever changing ecosystem with new people, places, roles and identities. Often times the changes one endures in life pull on past experiences and wounds, leaving you feeling overwhelmed, unsure, anxious or depressed. If that sounds like something you experience, we might be a good fit. I offer a compassionate space for people ready to figure out what is holding them back from embracing their true and authentic self.
At Wildflower Rising Therapy I aim to support people in unlocking their full potential and embracing the freedom that comes with confidence in self-identity. It’s so easy to lose yourself when you go through a big change like motherhood, a new job, the loss of someone important in your life and more.
In my therapeutic practice we will work collaboratively to further understand all the parts of you. I will take time to understand your presenting issues, explore your childhood experiences, attachment style, and patterns in your relationships. Through this exploration I will be attuning to best understand what is contributing to your feelings of overwhelm, anxiety, depression, or disconnection. It’s important to me to take the time to understand the full picture and talk to all the parts of you wanting to be heard and understood so we can cultivate a deep and lasting healing of the self. This will help you gain confidence in who you are, your values, and how you want to move about in the world. I am not here for quick fixes but lasting and sustainable growth and healing.
Outside the office
Outside the office
Outside of my office I hold a lot of parts. I am a mother, a partner, a daughter, a friend, a hiker, a camper, a reader, a baker and the list goes on. I love spending time outdoors and traveling with my ever growing pack. Rain or Shine you can find me taking my dog’s Moose and Maggie out for walks and hikes with our newest addition, my human son Theo. I love a good Netflix binge and continue on my quest for the perfect chocolate chip cookie. We often spend time with our extended family and friends making memories and sharing laughs.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree from UC Santa Cruz in Psychology
Master’s in Science from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in Psychology
I started my career working with co-occurring mental health and substance abuse clients in a court mandated intensive outpatient setting. Here I learned first hand how connected our past experiences, traumas and relationships are to our present emotions, thoughts and behaviors. I took my experience working with adults at the intersection of mental health and our legal system and wanted to explore early intervention. I began working for a First Five program focused on supporting littles (0-5 year’s old) and their parents with developmental delays, challenging behavior and trauma. Here I started to see how interconnected all the parts of a person can be. I liked working with the littles, but it was working with the parents, the mother’s and all of their parts that would come out to talk that I found were integral to the healing of a system.
Within each of us we have a true Self made of many parts shaped by our roles and experiences and my passion is uncovering these parts, listening to them and allowing their stories to be told, heard, and fully embraced that leads to remarkable healing. Prior to starting Wildflower Rising Therapy I had been working in a group private practice setting, with a focus on individuals, couples, and families. I have seen a full spectrum of clients, age 2 months to 90 years old in my career so far. I have worked with a variety of presenting concerns from traumatic births to the existential concepts of aging and death. I would love the chance to get to know you a little better and see if we might work well together.

I believe that our lives are ever changing and so are we. Self-growth is a lifelong process. However, I don’t expect you to be in therapy forever (unless you want to!). There are so many unique circumstances for each person who enters therapy so it’s hard to answer this question. My best answer is that it’s collaborative, as long as you feel you are getting the support you need and want, then you are welcome here. When you decide you’re done, you’re done! Let’s see what works best for you.
